What do you feel?

We ask this sometimes in yoga, for the students to, rather than think their way into a yoga posture, but rather feel their way into it.  That there is medicine to be found as your breathing towards the destination (pose in this case). What are you experiencing and feeling along the way. It is not a practice of perfection and is always asking you to be kind to yourself when discovering what you find along this journey towards liberation of suffering.

We have been isolated in some what shape or form these past 60+ days and we are now asking lots of questions in ‘how to return?’

Recently the practice has calmly been guiding me deeper and deeper without judging as to what to do now…. How do you open a yoga studio back up with a virus running chaotically through the community? You don’t, hahaha! That’s the best, sure-fire way to keep those unpleasant sensations away from thinking about spreading this nasty bug around. But is it really that nasty, and to whom?

This is where you come in. How do you feel about it & what will you base your final decision on? Usually it’s that guy feeling once you’ve digested it all.

If that gut feeling still says no, then let’s honor that. We are not here to pressure you, we don’t need to pressure you back for the sake of staying open. We are here to help lead you down the healing path, and it always begins with our minds / sensations. If you’re not ‘feeling it’ then the medicine isn’t going to work.

That is until I kept sitting with it. And then starting watching more in depth coverage of the data coming in. The sensations in my gut became less tense. Meditation would let them rise and fall and breath as they need to and yet they still never came back as strong as they were in April.

I am a problem solver at heart & if pivoting and adjusting our entire buildout plan when we started One Tribe 2 years ago couldn’t stop us, then a passing virus certainly isn’t going to. I believed & felt it in my gut that it was all happening for a reason, and I believed we were going to make it happen some way, shape or form.

We believe that by keeping things extremely simple, and hands free, that we are giving you the best chance to get back into a yoga studio without too much worry or fears. Below is a diagram of how simple we are really making it for you.
